This includes items like computers, educational software, textbooks and stationery.

How to claim

Education Tax Refund can be claimed as a part of your 2008-2009 tax return. If you don’t need to lodge a tax return this year, you can still claim using a separate form or even over the phone.

The Details

The Education Tax Refund lets you claim up to 50% of eligible education expenses for school children. You can claim refund for text books, stationary and even the Internet costs.
